MB9210 duct smoke detector is a kind of fire detector used in exhaust, ventilation, air conditioning system, which is usually installed on the outer wall of the ventilation pipe. The detection pipe IS extended to the ventilation pipe to effectively monitor the smoke. When a fire occurs and smoke enter into the ventilation pipe and spread along the pipe, the detector can alarm in time, send out the control signal for fire-fighting linkage actions of fans, fire valves, smoke vents and other equipment to prevent the fire from spreading through the ventilation pipe.
In addition, the detector also has the function of fault self-diagnosis. When the occurrence of power abnormal, communication failure, rear cover off position and other problems, the detector will give the corresponding fault information, through the fault indicator flashing frequency to determine the problem. This method improves the stability and reliability of the product.

● Designed for detecting earlier smoke presence from various duct of HVAC or ventilation systems
● Utilizes photoelectric technology, senses the air which is sampled from the sampling tube extended into the ventilation duct. When sufficient smoke is sensed, an alarm signal will be initiated for shutting off fans, blowers or air handling systems, etc. These actions can prevent the toxic smoke and fire gases from entering the protected areas, and stop the spread of fire through ventilation ducts.
● Alarm, supervisory and auxiliary relay contacts are available for control panel interface, HVAC equipment and other similar functions.
● The detector can do self-diagnosis, which can diagnose fault information such as power supply abnormal, communication failure, cover dislocation, etc. and judge the problem through the flashing LED, to improve the stability and reliability.
● The detector supports 2-bus input, which is suitable for accessing the fire bus system
● The sampling tubes are available in various lengths. It is recommended that the length inserts at least 2/3 across the duct width for good performance.
