EBD15L-2D Industrial Grade Smoke & Heat Combination Detector is comprehensively designed using a unique inverted spiral smoke inlet structure and optical dual light source smoke detection technology, as well as optimized data algorithms and intelligent judgment technologies. In addition to smoke detection and alarm functions, the detector also has a temperature detection function. The detector is equipped with two high-sensitivity and high-reliability temperature-sensing devices, which can be used to detect and alarm the temperature of the use environment; at the same time, the detector Can be connected with linear temperature sensing cable for linear temperature detection and alarm.
The detector can either use the RS485 bus communication method or work independently. After alarming, it outputs a set of relay passive contact signals. It can be widely used in high-speed railways, subways, locomotives, shopping malls, shops, warehouses, motor rooms, distribution cabinets, fresh air pipelines, wind power generation, new energy battery boxes, energy storage stations and other civil and industrial places.

Function Descriptions:
◆ Stand-alone working mode: Directly supply the specified power supply to the detector, and the detector can enter the normal working mode. When normal, the green indicator light of the detector is always on. When an alarm event occurs (alarms such as smoke, temperature, temperature sensing cable, switch signal closure, etc.), the indicator light turns red and the relay operates at the same time. When the environmental smoke, temperature or switch signal returns below the alarm threshold, the detector automatically returns to normal working status.
◆ Bus communication working mode: When the detector is connected to the controller or host computer (hereinafter collectively referred to as the controller) through the RS485 bus, the controller provides working power and information communication to the detector through the bus.
◆ Normal status: The working status of the detector is determined by the controller. The controller actively inquiries about the working status of the detector according to a certain inspection time. The detector responds according to the instructions issued by the controller. When the detector receives the instructions from the controller and responds correctly, the green indicator light flashes, indicating that communication is normal.
◆ Alarm status: The detector can actively detect the smoke, temperature and temperature sensing cable (or other switch signal) data in the environment, and can make intelligent comprehensive judgments based on the data. When a parameter is found to reach the alarm condition, the detector will promptly report the alarm status and the detected data is uploaded to the controller, which then makes a comprehensive judgment.
◆ Fault status: The controller sends an inquiry command to the detector. When it cannot receive a response from the detector, the controller sends a communication failure signal. When there is a problem inside the detector, such as sensor failure, etc., the detector will also send fault information to the controller, and the controller will light up the fault indicator light, and at the same time the yellow indicator light of the detector will light up.
