In Fire and Security system the sounder is the most effective device for alerting personnel to evacuate the area. In the buildings such as hotels, apartments and dormitories where thick doors and walls prevent external sound penetration, alarm sound can not easily reach the room. So local alarm device is needed and the using of a combined detector base with built-in sounder provides a cost effective solution.
ODZ6008 is mounted on a conventional detector to provide the dual function of detection and alarm device. The detector “clicks” onto the sounder base making installation simple and efficient. No standard detector base is required. Alternatively an optional cover plate can be used to enable the sounder to operate as a dedicated stand alone sounder. It is compatible with Orena conventional detectors and fire alarm systems.
